9 Months and Homecoming

Lauren Margaret turned 9 months old on October 20th. She is busy, busy this month....but I feel like I say that every month! Her latest "trick" or skill (yes, I know she is not a dog - HA!) is standing up without holding on to anything. She's is getting pretty sturdy...should I be nervous that we may have walker on our hands, soon?? It's pretty exciting and a bit scary! LM is enjoying going to Kindermusik on Wednesdays where she gets to play with friends her age and sing lots of songs. She enjoys dancing (bouncing up and down to music), clapping, talking, pointing to the lights and pumpkins when you ask her where they are, and is just in to EVERYTHING! She's a curious little girl! She continues to have a smile on her face each and everyday...we just love how happy she is. She is 29 inches long and weighed 18.7 1/2 at her last appointment. Growing, growing, growing!
Happy Halloween! LM posing next to the pumpkin her Nana carved for her. Can you find her initials and name?? Stay tuned for some super cute pics of her in her costume at the Arboretum this Fall with several friends and some from our upcoming trip to Norman for the OU game/Tailgate.

Last weekend we headed to Waco for Baylor Homecoming. We had a great time visiting with family and friends. Lauren Margaret LOVED her birds eye view of the parade from Daddy's shoulders!

OU/Texas Weekend

What a beautiful weekend it was! Unfortunately, The Sooners lost the big game but fun was still had by all! We hosted our 5th Annual OU/Texas afterparty Saturday afternoon. We had about 50 people in attendance this year which was a lot of fun! I didn't do a very good job getting pictures of everyone, but here are a few from the day.
8:30 am....let's go! Time to head to the game!
Lauren Margaret with her Nana and Gammy

Cousin Amanda and Robyn swinging out front! Lauren Margaret LOVES these two ladies!!!Some of the kiddos (LM, Avery Underwood and Dylan Rosenkranz) Where was Lily Weidenbach?? I can't believe we didn't get one picture with her! An attempt to get the girls sitting next to the pumpkins and mums...HA! Yeah, right...they had other plans...plans to destruct!
Two little cuties
Aunt Sissy and Lauren Margaret...yes, she had a wardrobe change...she had to cheer on her Bears later that evening! It was a sad day for The Lee's teams...The Bears and Sooners both lost!Missy and Dylan. Dylan was a sport playing with all the "babies". He insisted on taking his shoes off like and crawling around like the babies. It was really quite cute of him! When in Rome...do as The Romans do, right? Love that little guy! Sunday Brandon and I walked the dogs and Lauren Margaret to the park. Then, we walked over to Gloria's for lunch on the patio. Another great fall weekend with great friends and family! Who could ask for more?

Welcome October and Grandparents!

We went to dinner with Daddy Jim and Granddaddy last Tuesday when they were both in town for work. Lauren Margaret had fun with her two granddads!
Just hanging with the two best granddads around!

Elvis was in the house at Hacienda on Henderson!

Over the weekend Gammy and Granddaddy were here in Dallas. We enjoyed going to the State Fair of Texas on Friday...absolutely perfect weather! Friday night, LM got to hang out with her grandparents while Brandon and I went out to celebrate Amanda's (my cousin's) birthday at Sangria. Saturday we went to lunch and played with Little Bit all day! Sunday we ended up the weekend at Ozona for brunch and then headed to the airport to say goodbye! It was a great weekend!
LM on her first Dart ride...hold on!!
Howdy Big Tex!
Hi!! (waving to the little kid next to us)
Lauren Margaret LOVED all the animals! This little baby goat was one of her favorites...I think because it was her size!
A man was carving this pumpkin....too cool not to take a picture!
Just me and my Gammy!

Tired feet after a fun day!
Getting ready to cheer on the Sooners Saturday...too bad they lost!
All smiles!
