I am seeing a trend here with our blog...I'm constantly behind on posting. Anyone else feel like that?? We've had a lot going on...traveling, having company, and just the day to day activities that make each day fly by.
Lauren Margaret is now 14 months old! I can't believe I have a 14 month old! She is so much fun....little miss personality, I tell you...all SMILES and I just love that! She enjoys reading books, tickling us with her tickle monster gloves on (must get a picture of her with these on...it is so funny), dancing to music, playing with Lucy and GiGi, riding her bike, going to the park and insisting on sliding down the biggest slide and climbing the rock wall, playing with her little friends at playgroups, going to Kindermusik, playing with her Daddy and looking out the window waiting for him to get home, pushing her baby dolls around, and much much more! She's on the go all day and is such an independent little girl. It's fun to watch her when she's playing...how she will play with something for a while and then run back to her room to get something else. She definitely entertains herself! Her favorite toys include her books, baby dolls, little people farm, baby stroller, purse/makeup, and pop pop push toy.
Funny/cute things I've "caught" her doing lately include: signing "Uh Oh, Uh Oh" to "All The Single Ladies" in the car, creaping/walking slowly to surprise Daddy, saying "shhhh" when her babies are sleeping in the baby bed (she puts her finger up on her lips and it is so cute), walking backwards and spinning around until she's dizzy, climbing up and sitting on the couch and chairs in the living room to read a book, and pretending to put lipstick and makeup on with her makeup/purse set. She still "talks" a lot, although we still can't make out much of what she says. Words we can make out are doggie, fish, Mama, Dadeee (Daddy), Yucy (Lucy), Gigi, yes, book, this, sissy, shus (for shoes), baba (bye, bye), and when she wants something "UUUUUUUU"!
So, on to some pictures of her in action! Some are from a recent trip to Houston, others from St. Patty's Day, and then some from Spring Break this past week. YES, that is snow on the first day of Spring! Crazy weather, but fun nonetheless!! Hopefully this is the last cold snap and we'll be on to the nice warm weather. Happy trails everyone and we'll be back sooner than later (hopefully)!
