Snow Days!

Dallas enjoyed about a week of icey/snowy weather a few weeks ago....of course, I type this as I sit here in shorts today...that's Texas weather for ya! Couldn't help but post a few of our little snow bunny!

Gibby's 60th Birthday!

We celebrated Gibby's 60's birthday this weekend in Houston. We had a birthday dinner at my parent's house to celebrate her big day! What a celebration it was!

My aunt and I had a great time decorating the table...we did the flowers ourselves...so fun! I think I may have a new hobby :-) We used my great grandmother's crystal bowl for the centerpiece and we labled all the flower arrangments with family members who couldn't be there to celebrate her birthday...they were with us in spirit!





This was the memory book we gave her. It was filled with letters from special people in her life. We emailed about 60 people asking them to send in special memories and letters for her...it was the perfect gift. She absolutely loved it and we had so much fun reading what everyone sent!

Lauren Margaret Turns 2!

Lauren Margaret turned two on January 20th and we had a fun cooking themed party! We welcomed many family members and good friends! We had a special weekend full of wonderful memories!

We did a cooking theme so each place was set with a child's apron and chef hat! They looked so cute in them!




Party favors were skillets, rolling pins, and play food!
