How much can we pack into a week???

The past week was quite eventful. I ended up in the hospital with kidney stones last Monday night and was there two nights (including the night in the ER). All is well now, but it was a long and involved situation which involved a day surgery. Thanks to Judy, Amanda, mom, and Brandon for ALL your help at the hospital. Lauren Margaret and I headed back to Houston with Grandmommy and ended up staying a week (thanks to another kidney stone attack in Houston). Although we had only planned staying the weekend, it ended up being such a fun week.

Grandmommy hosted a "Sundaes on Saturday" party to introduce Lauren Margaret to Houston friends. It was a lot of fun! Amy's ice cream provided the ice cream sundaes. It was really a cute party and everyone seemed to really enjoy the sundaes - I know I did!! Grandmommy even had a little corsage made for Lauren Margaret with baby roses. It was so special!

3 Months Old

Lauren Margaret is three months old today! Here are some things she seems to enjoy doing these days:
  • sucking on her fingers (certainly has found those)
  • staring at her feet (really funny to watch...it's like she's trying to figure out how those things are moving)
  • kicking her feet like she's running in place (as seen above in the picture...hard to get a pick of her perfectly still these days )
  • playing on her play mat
  • grabbing on things hanging from the play mat and trying to put the links in her mouth
  • looking in the mirror
  • "people watching"
  • laughing/talking with everyone
  • going places with mommy - just happy to be along for the ride
  • looking at other little baby friends...really likes that! Smiles at her friends.
  • standing up/bouncing
  • sitting up on our laps...really starting to be able to hold herself up a little :)
She continues to bring so much joy into our lives each day! We just love her so much!!

Also, here are some pics from a BBQ that the Rosenkranz's had Sunday at their house. Kristie and Michael Mills and Eric and Dianna Wood were there as well. (Missy Rosenkranz, Eric, Michael, and I have know each other since junior high)

Living on Tulsa Time

We had a great time in Tulsa this weekend celebrating Lauren Margaret's first Easter. Lauren Margaret had so much fun at Nana and Daddy Jim's house. She did a great job again traveling...slept like a champ in the Pack n Play and was great in the car! Nana and Daddy Jim had our room all set up with her bed, a swing, a fun animal chair, a Baby Einstein play mat (will have to get a pic next visit of our room) and lots of Easter treats...we felt right at home and so did Lauren Margaret. Here are some pictures from our weekend.
