Day Trip to Cow Town and 7 Weeks Old!

Lauren Margaret and I went to Ft. Worth to see Jen Sanders to celebrate her bday (a week late). We missed her big 30th birthday bash a few weekends ago because Lauren was getting over her newborn congestion and stuffy nose. We enjoyed going to visit with Jen and her dog Simon. Jen has become a great friend over the last 4 years. Her husband, Jody, and Brandon went to law school together. We enjoyed getting to know Jen when we moved to Dallas and were so excited when Jody decided to "pop the question" to Jen. They were married in Michigan (Jen's home state) right before New Year's year before last and we were so excited to be there to celebrate their marriage! After getting married they moved to Ft. Worth, but we still manage to see them quite often!

So...today, I ate ate my first Vegan meal. NO....I'm not planning on becoming a Vegan (is that what they are called??), but Jen has been raving about this restaurant in Ft. Worth - Spiral Diner. Well, it was awesome! I had a wrap with no meat taco meat, avocado, back beans, corn, and all sorts of other healthy veggies. It was so good...we will definitely go back! I even had a Vegan chocolate chip cookie for dessert - so good. Here are some pics from our day.
