Weekend Fun

On Friday Jaclyn and Lily Weidenbach came over along with Marcela Devlin. We all walked up to the Corener Market for lunch and enjoyed visiting with our good friends. Here's cute little Lily at 6 months old :) Lily brought Lauren Margaret all her 0-3 month clothes to borrow! Thank you, Lily!!

Lauren Margaret attended two showers this weekend and was a cute little social butterfly. On Saturday we went to a shower for Courtney Faris and Cullen Walker Faris in the morning and then to Rikki and Ted Downing and Sally Claire Downing's shower that evening. Here are some pics from the couple's shower we helped host for Rikki and Ted Saturday night.

On Sunday, we met The Weidenbachs at Blue Mesa for brunch - yummy!

After brunch our family drove up to check on the boat at the marina. It is an hour drive from our front door to the boat, so we are looking forward to another fun summer full of relaxing days at the lake. One of the reasons we chose Lake Texoma (besides the fact that it is the perfect distance...not too far but far enough that you feel like you are getting away) is that we thought it would be a great lake for kids. There are lots of sand beaches where we can dock and set up the canopy on the beach. The kids can splash around on the shore or build sand castles or take a nice nap under the tent...something I like to do as well :) We figure she'll be 5-6 months this summer so we'll get in a few days with Baby as well. We loved having friends/family out there last summer so we look forward to the same this summer with the kids as well! Fun memories to be made for sure ;)
