We headed to the lake after the storm today - well, we drove through the storm to get to the lake. I was thinking it wasn't going to happen, but the guys kept convincing me it was going to be a beautiful day up there! Okay, so they were right...but just this once :) It was actually perfect weather...nice breeze and not 100+ degrees! We enjoyed a great day with good friends. The girls went right to bed (hallelujah)....they played so hard!

Love Avery's face in this one...she's so happy to see her friend! This was taken right before Lauren Margaret tried to pull all of Avery's hair out. Poor thing, she's so fascinated...probably becasue she only has about three hairs on her own head....well, maybe four....but who's counting...let's face it, the child is BALD!
Somehow we got them both to look at the camera the same time....that is getting harder and harder to do these days!

What precious little water babies!! Swimming always wears Sally out too-- I wish we could take them swimming every day-- it makes bedtime a breeze!
