Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you had a good time ringing in the new year. We enjoyed celebrating with The Weidenbach's at their house this year. They had a great party and we enjoyed catching up with everyone there! New Year's Day our cousin Amanda hosted a fun party at her house....lots of yummy food and good company. We also were able to get the car seat "installed" into the car, I got the crib sheets and bassinet sheets washed, and Brandon got the tree down (last stage of Christmas to go). It always looks so empty in the house after all the decorations are down...does anyone else feel that way?? I miss them, but it was time for them to go. Sorry for no new pics from New Year's...I left my camera at home for both parties...again, pregnancy brain I guess :)

I was reminded that as of today we only have 18 more days until Lauren Margaret's due date...I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon and am anxious to see if we have any "changes." I've had a lot of countdowns in my life, but I have to say this is the most exciting one ever! I just can't wait to hold her!!!

Well, enough rambling for now but I did want to mention how glad I am to have started this blog b/c my memory is horrible, so hopefully now I'll be able to remember some details of our life...like maybe I would have remembered that this time last year Brandon and I were at the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona and in Sedona, Arizona for a New Year's trip. I had completely forgotten what we did last year until he reminded me...so I am definitely glad I have some place to write things down and now Lauren Margaret will always have these memories, too! So...come on everyone...get your BLOG ON! It's fun and mighty helpful! Happy New Year!
