We tried the Miracle Blanket for the first time last night and it seemed to really work! Thank you Kimberly for the recommendation!! LM is proving to be a strong little girl and can wiggle out of just about any swaddle (which in turn wakes her up), so we tried the Miracle Blanket...aka straight jacket...it seriously looks like one...and it kept her nice and tight in the swaddle. She slept from 11:00 pm until 2:00 am, ate, then went back down until about 5:45!! Yeah for the Miracle Blanket...will see if it prevails again this evening :)
At 3 weeks old here's are some things Lauren Margaret seems to enjoy doing:
- Sleeping
- Eating (always!!)
- Cooing/making little sqwealing noises...very cute!
- Smiling - has the cutest dimples just like her Daddy
- Listening to Mommy/Daddy talk to her...listens very intently and smiles
- Laying on rainforest mat...not loving tummy time just yet, but we try each day. She prefers being on her back on the mat. She gets plenty of neck lifting time on Daddy's tummy and Mom's shoulder...is always lifting that neck...so strong
- Seeing grandparents on web cam each night
- Tracking - found the fan the other day
- Looking out the window on a sunny day while on changing table
- Taking walks in her stroller and in the Hot Sling
- Swinging in her lamb swing
Happy baby...even smiling in her sleep :)
