A Healthy Baby Girl

We had our 2 week checkup today with Dr. Neely (pictured above with LM). We dressed her in one of her Valentine outfits so she could be Dr. Neely's Valentine :) She got a great report today! She had to get her heel pricked for a test which made Mommy almost cry because it upset her so much.

Lauren seems to be starting a little growth spurt (which the doctor said would be right around the corner) because all Baby wants to do is eat, eat, eat...the good news is she was up so much eating today, I think we'll have a great restful night of sleep (fingers and toes crossed for good luck) Even if she wants Mommy to hold her again all night, I will...I know this time will pass and I'll miss having these moments with her!

Here are her current "stats" as of today, 2/4/09:
Weight: 8lbs, 6 1/2 oz (birth weight was 7lbs, 8 oz...so we are really growing)
Height: 21 in (birth height was 19 3/4 in)

Dad had fun playing with LM this evening and telling us all about jury duty (he was selected as the 12th juror yesterday). One nice thing about jury duty is he's been able to come home for lunch the last few days, so we've enjoyed seeing him during the day!!
