November Nomads

Well, we kicked off our Thanksgiving holiday a little early this month with a trip to Houston. Lauren Margaret had a blast with all her Houston family and friends. There's nothing like going to Grandma's! I sure loved it when I was little, so I want Lauren Margaret to look forward to going, too! I know it means a lot to her grandparents to have her at their houses, so we try to go a much as we can. All of her grandparents have come to see her about once a month here in Dallas, which has been a lot of fun, too!!
We flew again this time and she did great on the plane....I know this may not always be the case, but I am glad we had another successful go! We sat next to two high school girls on their way to a softball tournament. They loved LM and she had fun playing with them. I wish I had thought to get a picture with them...they were so cute! Good seat selection on my part...spotted them the second we boarded and knew they'd be good "neighbors"! On the way back we had the whole row to ourselves and there was the nicest lady on the other side of the aisle who enjoyed all the attention LM was giving her. Thanks to Gammy, Granddaddy, Aunt Sissy, Uncle T, Aunt Katie, Uncle Bill, Will, and KK for showing us such a great time. How very thankful we are to have you ALL in our lives. See you all in a few weeks for Christmas!! Can hardly wait for the 24 hour Christmas Story marathon! Here are some pics from our week:

Last week we headed to Tulsa to visit with LM's Nana and Daddy Jim. Aunt Adrian was in from Virginia, so that was extra special having her there!! We enjoyed Thanksgiving with Great Grandmother (Granny), Great Grandmother Betty, and Great Aunt Gail over at The Lee's house. What a nice visit we had with them! How very blessed I feel to have such amazing inlaws who love us so much! You know, I knew I loved Brandon the moment I met him, but I fell in love with him even more after meeting his family. They are such a blessing in our lives (all of you Lees...near and far). Thank you for another SPECIAL visit! Here are some pictures from our week in Oklahoma.

So, we are home now! We had a fast and furious November, but it was a November full of wonderful memories. Brandon got all the outside lights up Sunday after we got home from Tulsa. I got unpacked and the inside of the house decorated. Brandon has the outside looking so pretty for LM's first Christmas. He did more than he ever has out there - such a sweet Daddy, wanting it all to be perfect for his little girl. She enjoyed looking at all the lights before going to bed tonight! She was so very excited to see it all. I sit here tonight typing by the light of the Christmas tree....nothing better than Christmas lights! I could sit and watch them for hours. I love the holidays and look forward to Lauren Margaret's first Christmas!! As you can see, she's already met Santa and told him what she wants for Christmas :-)
