Today, the new Babies/Toys R Us (across from NorthPark Mall) had a preview of the store from 10-12. So...we ventured on over to check out the new digs. It was so much fun...they had a lady making balloon art, a face painter, care bear and star wars impersonators (is that what you call them?), snacks for moms and babies (yeah), and lots of fun things for the kiddos to see. They also had a lot of fun play stations set up all over the store for various ages! They were giving away these adorable Geoffrey the Giraffes: They were NOT giving away these: However, I couldn't resist...look how cute she is playing with it: By the looks of it, the preview day was a big success...I (along with fellow shoppers) ended up with a basket full of things that were not on my list....hmmmm...that seems to happen to me a lot lately! I figure the new toys will keep Miss LM busy the next few days as I get packed for our trip. For you Dallas-ites...be sure to head on over there and check it out...grand opening is Friday!
I love the new toy. I haven't seen that one. Isn't it fun that they can really play now? Meg spend 30 minutes playing in her little kitchen this morning!
